Move in Access was a little tricky. I do love the apartment building is protected by a key fob and security doors but when it comes to moving in it is sort of a hassle having to use the key fob every time definitely when you have heavy stuff that you are trying to get through the gate and up the elevator. Other than that Montoya is amazing she did a wonderful job getting me in quickly. Great amenities inside of the unit. Parking is also good.

I have throughly enjoyed my experience at Monterey Station and im sad to go. Ive been here for a year and ill start off with move-in and the staffs . Move in was so easy i dont even remember the process lol. Anthony took care of me and was very personable, i was his first applicant upon getting hired and he did a great job which means he had great training. The rest of the leasing team and managment is extremely friendly and helpful as well. Shout out to Kevin! Just the last year ive seen them address a multitude of residents complaints; they got a no trespassing permit for the complex which allows police to actually arrest someone not permitted on the property, theyve installed extra dog poo bags in higher traffic areas that needed them, they installed speed bumps in the parking lot since ppl would speed in, and key fob requirements for the elevator. Maintenance is great, prompt, and friendly. And i see janitorial working hard every morning to maintain the outside of the complex. The units and the complex itself are beautiful. Not pristine, but at like 90% besides usual wear n tear since the building is almost 10 years old. Ive had virtually 0 issues with my specific unit. Neighbors are extremely nice!! It was the first thing i noticed when i moved in. Its filled with young professionals, students, or young families. I promise you will not find this nice of a complex with all amenities at this price in virtually all of LA. Similar apts go for at least $200-$300 more a month, even in similar cities. I dont mean to invalidate other residents complaints but it should be known Pomona isnt the best city despite the city trying to make improvements, which means you have to be vigilant & lock your car doors and know what youre getting youself into when you move to this city. I blame a lot of their complaints on ignorance of where they moved and high expectations. That being said i still enjoyed living in pomona, the chillest caffe Wish You Were Here, the best pho at pho vina, and the best west coast vibe at Krazy Js. Youre also very close to some amazing shopping in Chino Hills. Thanks Monterey Station for the past year!

Been living here 5 years it used to be great but now it's time to move. This place has turned into a revolving door. They finally got good management. Security sucks a lot of homeless people get in here. I came home from work last month a homeless man was sleeping in front of my door.

You're next to all of Pomona's best activities and even though P-town can get a bad rep, it's not bad if you stay in the DTP and local area. Just be smart about your safety and your belongings, similar to city life. On the plus, theres so much nightlife, shopping, and dining literally steps outside your door. Also extremely close to transit which is a plus if you're a commuter! They have a ton of different unit options with great price points. Not to mention the modern amenities are really nice. The 2 times I've had to deal with customer service related issues, they have always been super helpful and polite.

Been here almost 3 years now and we like it. Washer & dryer -dishwasher in your apartment very convenient we have a 1 bedroom that’s comfortable for myself my husband and our 3 year old. You can pay a little extra for your own parking spot it gets pretty packed if not but we always manage to find parking. There’s a small dog park and a pool area with grills and tables that we use during the summers it’s usually kept clean all year round. Office staff is helpful and never too hard to get a hold of. Maintenance always handles any issues quickly and professionally. Just submit a request online they usually come the next day or 2. But will text/call you to confirm. Dog friendly complex they supply poop baggies for residents. There’s security on the property and you need your fob to be able to use the elevator wich I personally love.

I looked at Monterey Station, 777 Place and The Gabriel before deciding on 777 Place, and here are my pros and cons list that I have included for all 3 places on their reviews. 777 PLACE: Pros: : Larger units than anywhere else, on-site laundry, responsive staff who answer the phone, prompt maintenance, security gated complex so transients can't just walk in and lowest price than any of the others by a lot! Great value for the money and they have a tired system of rent due to being awarded some government funding that allows them to keep rent low. My one bedroom is about $1,400 month because I make less than $50K year. This is not low-income housing, it's just some extra funding they have. My neighbor pays over $1,600 for same unit due to income level. I think this is a benefit to get a discount and I did not need a guarantor. Cons: Parking spot is not guaranteed so you have to reserve early and unless you are able to reserve at time of lease signing, you may not get one at all! I am still waiting, but looks promising MONTEREY STATION Pros: Awesome units at a fair price, great vibe with grand entrance, parking included, fast internet speed, lots of community engagement and activities so you can make friends, gated and secure parking and units. They have a club room that looked like fun with a lot of the tenants hanging out and becoming friends. The vibe is lively, friendly and tenant community. Cons: The two guys who manage the front desk are not responsive and literally no one answers the phone if you call. Have to walk in to get a question answered and I am shocked at the lack of management oversight. One bedroom units hardly ever available and low chances of moving up on wait-list so don't hold your breath. Move on... THE GABRIEL: Pros: The building is brand new, so of course it looks nice! The location would be considered a plus if it were not for the train tracks right next door with horn blaring all day and the massive construction project in progress right next door with drills, heavy equipment noise and general chaos all around. Cons: This list is long! I was excited about this place until I visited a friend that lives there and heard all his complaints with ever changing rates, terms and conditions not shared on their website or in writing anywhere. They simply can change their minds about anything so be warned. their website says 11, 12 and 13 month lease yet when I called, I was told 13 month lease only! Their specials claim free month rent and move-in bonus but I was told it's only for 4th floor (the most over-priced) and bonus is only if you agree to lease within 24-hrs of seeing unit! They don't disclose this on website to get people in, hoping they will quickly sign within 24hrs. BEWARE! Shady practice Internet is slow and not included in rent and they charge lots of extra fee's for butler, gas, water, electric and you have to buy renters insurance on top of all this. The WORST con is that they have one security guy for over 340 units who looks like he can barely walk, much less patrol. No full time security skimping on tenant safety to save money despite theft and auto damage. In general, this place is way overpriced and traffic is always jammed right outside due to constant trains coming all day and construction so don't rely on MAPS time, add like 20 minutes of sitting in your car hardly moving if going towards the 10 fwy. There is not enough guest parking either so good luck if you have a visitor and there is NO security gate at the entrance or exits coming onto property so transients just hang around right outside units.

I had an issue with a clog in my bathroom sink and when I notified maintenance that day Chester immediately came to my unit and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. I'm completely satisfied with not only him fixing the issue but his immediate response that same day. He was very professional and cleaned up afterward.

Management and the leasing office was always helpful and provided relative information for what you needed! Benjamin, like other reviews have stated, is the best property manager there is! I didn’t catch the names of the agents that helped me move out but their personalities and kindness made the whole experience amazing! I only took off one star because I had a consistent work order placed for some cosmetic repairs, and they said they were fixed but they never got repaired. I kept re-opening but after a few times I decided to repair the issues myself, nothing too difficult, just would have been helpful if it was fixed properly. Stayed in the studio unit for about 2 years and would move in again if I needed to move back to Pomona!

Very helpful management. Benjamin was always responsive and was very professional and informative with any questions I ever had. The whole office staff including, Anthony and Montoya, have been helpful and courteous every time I called. I could tell they work hard and care about keeping everything running smoothly. It’s a large community and unfortunate when residents abuse the gates or don’t clean up after their dog. But the property is kept clean and beautiful with the pool in the B building courtyard and the water feature and gym in the A building side. I was happy to have a washer and dryer in my studio unit, with beautiful vaulted ceilings and wood floors. The units are kept very updated. Thank you for providing a safe pleasant place to live close to campus.

Been here 8 months and haven’t had any major issues aside from my car getting broken into once when I first moved in . But that happens at any apartment complex. Love the front office staff! They’ve been nothing but good to Me from day 1. it’s a nice place fairly quiet during the day and night and I really like the gym and pool. I feel safe walking around with my 1 year old and my Amazon packages have yet to get stolen (knock on wood). The delivery system they use is pretty efficient. I think the only downside is there’s homeless people that get through the gates and go through the dumpsters and or cars at at night , I feel security could be a bit tighter around here.All the Matinence people are nice and usually show up quickly and get the job done safe to say I do Like it here and will be here’s until I save up money for a house! Don’t listen to all the bad reviews this place is nice just happens to be in downtown Pomona

I’m honestly extremely satisfied with Monterey station apartments. Not only are the apartments really pretty but I have felt comfortable and safe while living here. Moving to a new city was scary for me but the people at the leasing office definitely made it easier for me. I would especially like to thank Rocio the leasing manager. She is great at her job and she is super efficient. She takes her time to respond to all of my emails and concerns that I have. I couldn’t ask for better service! If you are worried about how your experience will go here just take my advice and take the leap. I also really like the gym!

This apartment complex is the worst run complex I have ever had the misfortune of living in. The management will close help requests with no solutions. They closed off all stair entrances and now everyone is forced to use a singular point of entry during a pandemic. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Update: After multiple issues, I contacted the owners of the property because I didn’t feel the staff here were helping. Speaking with Victor, he has laid out steps to improve the current issues. Changes ongoing but we’re promised.

This review is about the maintenance staff: maintenance has always been able to respond promptly to any service requests we have. Even when it can’t be done right away, we have gotten notified quickly that maintenance is waiting on a part. Most recently, some kitchen bulbs burnt out and with the tall ceilings we couldn’t do it alone. Bryon was quick to respond to our request that he was waiting on a shipment of bulbs and as soon as they came he was able to replace them for us!

I had a good experience at Monterey Station. My studio was spacious and modern on the inside. Maintenance acted quickly whenever I had any issues. Security was easily accessible. Never had any problems even though it’s located in a kinda sketchy area in Pomona. The leasing office was a little hard to get ahold of at times, but usually returned calls promptly. There was definitely a change for the better once they changed management.

I would like to thank Kayla Jones for being very helpful and supportive. I’ve been staying here sense June and it started off horrible and made me feel as if I made a bad decision. The staff was horrible including the maintenance. I addressed numerous issues to Tia and RC who wasn’t very much supportive. But sense the Transition with the new Leasing company and maintenance I have seen a lot transition within a month. Kayla Jones is very supportive and helpful when it comes to my safety and comfortability at Monterey Station. I addressed issues to Kayla and she provided a solution every time with a sense of urgency to help and make me feel comfortable. Kayla Jones I highly appreciate your customer service meaning the urge and wanting to help seeking out asking questions such as what could we do as a leasing company to help and or change your outlooks on things. We need more people like Kayla Jones seeking out wanting to make a difference. Thanks Kayla Jones.

I lived here in 2016-2017 and I had the best renting experience. I met wonderful people and my neighbors became good friends. Not sure if Christy still works there but she was very helpful and friendly. The issue here is that the apartments are located in a bad area and I do remember there was some issues with finding parking and people breaking into vehicles but again that’s just part of living down town in a city. If you like quiet and prefer something more family oriented this is not the place for you. The people that lived there at the time were young professionals, college students, and I also met a several people that worked in military/government jobs. There was never a problem with roaches, never saw any when I lived there and the amenities were always very clean. I used to go walking to the clubs and again even though it’s a bad area I felt safe. Also, the Mexican food around the area is one of the best!

For what Monterey Station has to offer, I absolutely love living here. The price isn't too overbearing for the amenities they provide, and the office is usually very good at handling any issues in a timely fashion. Brandon especially has done an incredible job at making sure everything I need is taken care of, and his honesty and reassurance is the only reason I moved in. I love living here and plan to continue to live here for at least another year or two. The maintenance staff is courteous and great. The walls are tough, so you don't hear people's conversations or music in your own home, which is really nice. The appliances (in unit washer/dryer) are small, but effective and MUCH better than having to go to a community laundromat of sorts and pay for laundry. Overall, if you're looking for a decent location and solid structure, this is an excellent place to be. This is my first solo-apartment; several college students live here, not too many families, but I think that's just because of the area. My experience here has been, overall, wonderful, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone trying to maintain independence while on a budget. The dogs here are awesome, too.

Do not listen to any of the one star reviews or the complaints. My brother and I are both students and have just finished our first lease. We have been treated with nothing but the utmost respect. The staff is great and very respectful. Miss Tia is absolutely amazing and does a great job along side the rest of the staff. In fact, we are actually so happy that we renewed our lease here for another year. For clarification: - Monterey Station is NOT infested with roaches, as mentioned by other poor reviews. - The apartment complex is extremely well maintained and remains clean. - The staff is extremely respectful. - Parking is widely available.

I just moved into Monterey Station and am loving it! The location is ideal to downtown Pomona and is a great community full of friendly people. The manager, Andrea, was so helpful with my move. They are pet friendly and have a spacious dog run, which was huge for me. Check it out if you're looking for a great spot!
